By the night of Aug 12-13 9t had been 11 months since I heard a peep or had seen any reports on NHVT, but a couple of hours after dark, there it suddenly was as a slowly strengthening trace on Argo, along with lots of QRM carriers. (See attached capture.)

The keying was audible, but badly broken up by rapid, deep fades that often obscured individual elements within letters. The attached MP3 clip is typical of that evening...lots of dits and dahs at seemingly random times, one instance with parts of two identifier cycles ("VT NH"), and then finally at 59 seconds into the clip, one complete ID.

In the month since then, I've copied the signal several times with less severe QSB, but also not nearly as loud signal maxima. Frequency varies slightly from day to day, but thus far has remained within the range of 13559.0 kHz -10/+20 Hz.
