Just learning and finding my way around 490 khz signals, the "other" Navtex frequency. I'll be paying more attention to it this dx season, just seeing what can be hear from my location. Last night the prop came from the N.E. of here. I'm going to assume most stations I hear on this freq will be from Canada. Maybe I'll get a surprise or two when the band really opens up. Last night was station "D" in Riviere-Au-Renard Ontario. Here's just a snippet.FZCZC DA06

Text sent in the French language, with errors due to low signal strength. Time of transmissions along with station text identified it's location when looked up in Navtex listings. No real dx here but I need to establish what are the common stations heard from this location in Texas.
