I was hearing both beacons (RVA and RF) both coming at the same time, yesterday at 22:50 UTC and today 14:00 UTC. Nice signals for both. I've been able to hear 'RF' in the car using my IC-703 with a ten meter mobile antenna on the roof. The receive gain obviously gets worse the lower you go in frequency so being able to hear it while driving around Burlington says something about the signal level up here. As an aside, I just put together another vertical for my ODX beacon on 13.566.4 MHz today. I did a quick drive around the area and it seemed to sound better than my other vertical. More testing required. I love having the Icom in the car..I rarely talk on it but its a great rig to have to monitor your own beacons! Cheers 73 Steve
