Should work fine, though results will depend on the antenna setups at both ends. Also, since the regulations define power as DC input to the PA, rather than RF output, you will pay a penalty with a linear stage. While frequency stability is a big issue for most of us, it shouldn't be a problem for an audio broadcast setup.

As always, in the very small chance that anyone in your area is doing weak signal work around 185 kHz, it might be friendlier to avoid 185 - 185.5 kHz with wider bandwidth signals. Having no idea where you are, I can't point out a particular conflict. Again, chances would be small of causing any issues.
