Thanks Mike! Andy from the Knights gave me a few tips too. A few CL sudo's. JS8 did not seem to show any options for sound card selection at first. WSJT did and the CMedia did show up. Started working then. Back to JS8 and options started showing up too. So both now work. I will look at what you mentioned. No one mentioned that route. Seems logical, never thought of it! Just getting my feet wet with Mint. Now onto WINE. That probably won't be as easy. TNX! Bob EDJ
