Hi Folks,

I ran my regular monitoring of the HiFER watering hole over this weekend. As always, there is more data than I really have time to review, but a number of observations stuck out from a quick flip through the screenshots.

NC made a fine appearance during the very early evening of May 5th, with a long period of clear readability around 1800 to 1900 PDT. Around this time, TSN also popped up.

The irregular mystery "dasher" showed up in screenshots, along with its characteristic chirp. It seems to drift around from encounter to encounter, sometimes nearer 13555.3, and at other times 200 or 300Hz higher. The timing between "dashes" and and characteristics of the signal appear to be the same.

Lastly, there were a number of wide band noise events that I suspect were Solar in origin. One such instance occurred when I was at the radio desk, sounding like a long slow ocean wave breaking over the course of about a minute. Others appeared in the screenshots I was able to review so far.
