Hello, Ken, Sounds like you have a really good antenna for receiving weak signals. YSO is in the directory, operated by AJ8S on 13563.03 kHz. I’ve heard it here in Texas under better conditions, and with a better antenna than I use now. I had a center-fed half-wave up about 20 feet. When I wasn’t running my own 3.6 milliwatt beacon (ZT) I could hear several hifers beacons. I use a quarter-wave vertical now with 2mW, but I haven’t been able to hear it on any of the KiwiSDR’s around the country like I could with the dipole. It seems the ground wave gets out better, because I can easily hear my beacon 1.3 miles away at the grocery store. The dipole sky wave couldn’t make it two blocks, but easily made it 600-900 miles away at times. Steve
