Hi, Steve and Ed. This reminds me that Todd Roberts published a loop antenna design in The LOWDOWN in 2013 having a similar circuit, but much better suited for LF and MF reception. I can't seem to locate the full article right now, but maybe I can at least post some links to the photos and schematic.
