Kinna 261 was observed testing on longwave 261khz at 09:45UT on Saturday 1 November 2025. The signal was super-weak and noisy via a webSDR in nearby Borås and would normally be extremely difficult to identify 100%, but comparison with an audio file on the broadcaster's website (https://www.500khz.se/lw.php) confirmed identification. The broadcast consisted of an interval signal played three times then a female with the following announcement in Swedish: [translation] "This is a test broadcast on longwave from Kinna 261. Any listening reports should be sent to info@elektrosport.se". The transmission was still in progress at 13:05UT. Here's a slightly cleaned-up recording: https://www.intervalsignals.net/sounds/swe-kinna261_test_011125.mp3 Thanks to Mediumwave.Info for this tip-off! David Kernick, Interval Signals Online (WOR)
