I appreciate the comments. I have been studying antennas for many years. At times someone comes up with something new. My goal is a realistic goal to improve an antenna and not to re-invent. Most verticals built for the Neglected Band are less than 2% efficient. I have been struggling with some ideas that may have some validity. If they don't then I suppose I will learn from it. One goal would be to reach maybe 4%. The Longwave World would not benefit from that but users of the neglected band would. Those folks in the longwave business don't have the restraints that are placed on the neglected band. Keep the comments coming. I can also be reached at the email address I have listed. Thanks!
