Hi there Bruce. First of all congrats ! You are going to love your new receiving setup. As I stated earlier, IF I could only have one SDR that one would be it.

I wish I could help you with the MAC issues but I am severely allergic to anything MAC related. I have been a PC person starting back in the 80's before the world ever heard or knew about the "PC" when I was part of a team involved with making a TEMPEST hardened version for the feds. Someplace I still have an original true IBM PC with a rip-roaring 4.77 MHz clock speed and 8088 uP.

My guess, based on what other MAC users have told me is that emulators will/can work swell the vast majority of the time but there are some rare instances where they do fail to function properly. I would continue fiddling around and try a few of the ideas you have in mind but if that does not work then by all means get yourself a refurbished PC from NewEgg etc for just a couple hundred bucks and you can do anything you want. Just make sure it has WIN-11 on it and a 1TB SSHD for the OS and other programs. You can always then add in a "traditional" HD for mass storage of recordings etc. I usually have a 4 TB secondary drive for that purpose. Try to get a minimum of 16 GB of RAM and a I7 or I9 uP as well.

If you have any questions of running or setting up ARGO just hollar. Oh also I strongly suggest you DL and install SDR-Console to drive your RSPdx. Once you use it you will not go back to SDRConnect etc. GL and congrats again. 73 Gedas W8BYA
