In Texas listening to BBC 4 would be like a world shaking event. I will keep looking for it but I am sure it will never come. I have listened to it via a Web SDR from Europe. It is a very high quality broadcast. If for some reason I ever copy BBC I will celebrate for days. Sometimes I will see a small signal from some of the Long Waves but have not been able to copy one as of yet. When you live in Texas Short Wave is good listening but we just have to keep looking at NDB's and VLF signals and I am sure some day I will have the right conditions to listen to a long wave in real time. It was quite a thrill for me to listen to BBC 4 via the European Web SDR. I go back there sometimes to remind me of what I want to hear via Long Wave. :-) It saddens me that the inevitable one by one shut down of each long wave station is coming.
