Marcy, it's so noisy here on my radio all my noisy neighbors went inside! 209 is supposed to be Mongolia but there are NDB's that can over ride that signal. There is one in Canada (Chibougamau) with a power rating of 500 watts. That will carry a long way. I have seen 209 before with no modulation. But there are three or four US NDB's on 209 that could show up here in Texas. You are in a good place for Long Wave. Better than Indiana or Texas so keep trying! There are other things not listed in Long Wave that are not broadcasters. Like all the Lowfers (both Ham and Hobby) and some FSK is being sent as well as some strange modulation schemes. Here every day I see the power company turn on their PLC network. It spans a lot of the LW spectrum.
