Glenn, Gedas, all, I've been listening to 153 kHz for the last half hour. Very slow fading. The carrier reached as high as 40 dB out of the noise. The peaks of the sidebands appear to be about 20 dB below that. The band is fairly quiet, and right now, 153 has the best signal of the LWBC stations (around my sunset in MA). The language is almost assuredly Arabic. There was a speech-only program with a male and a female voice. I have no knowledge of Arabic, but heard what seemed to be a number of religious references to the Quaran, Mohammad, and so on. Don't trust me on this one, folks! They then went into what must be the longest song I've heard in some time, about 15 minutes. Better than "MacArthur Park" for a DJ with a bladder problem! Heard the beeps at the top of the hour at 2300Z. My wife has turned on something "buzzy" upstairs now, so that's the end of this report. Gotta get rid of that last light dimmer, I think...
