The Kiwi SDR was located at http://sdr.gb0snb.com:8073/. I just now tried it and there is a very weak signal but perhaps there is something there. The three conversations I received sounded like Ham operators or maybe even military. I could only understand a few words but not enough context. The signal did fade and that's what bothers me most. At that time of day at that frequency? I am not certain what was going on. Sometimes the signals would be strong enough but it would not last long enough to gather any thoughts of what they were saying. I do know this. They had strong English accents. I thought about why it might be fading. They could have been using low power, maybe in France or Europe or just far off. Also thoughts ran through my head of why they would be communicating in the LW frequencies. The thought occurred to me that GB might have a neglected band like we do. I also thought of the military or some organization that is a public service. Or who knows it maybe a European Neglected Band conversation but they did sound somewhat professional or maybe a smooth operator ham. I listened for a while but had little information come into my head. I am going to try again soon. I will be glad to keep an eye on this one. It blows my mind and I don't think it was a technical aberration. I keep learning things about VLF, LW that surprise me but this one was unique. That is why I reported it.
