If I were them I would be in contact with BBC ASAP. If they could get a more powerful transmitter and run it at a very reduced power of say 5 kW or 10 kW and if their frequency ends up at the high end of the LW band where the antennas can be smaller and thus way more efficient there is a chance receiving stations along the east coast will heard it. 73 Gedas W8BYA
