My program was not able to deliver any decodes that made sense and now I know why. I generated a PDF document that summarizes the dissection of the RTTY station bit-for-bit. The bottom line is it is 100% military encrypted. I also made a video showing what the signal looked like at my end. So, no banana in the end but still a lot of fun signal to catch and record. The site: the Spanish Navy’s LF station at Guardamar del Segura (Alicante), with a 370–380 m mast built by the US Navy in 1962–65. The US ran it from Rota until it was handed to the Spanish Navy in 1990. It sends orders to the Navy’s submarine flotilla out of Cartagena, which can receive the signal at periscope depth. The Spanish Defence Ministry’s own magazine confirms the submarine role and the LF transmission, but gives no frequency or call sign.
