Taking your advice Ed, I did some checking for noise with the antennas disconnected. Found I needed to make some changes to the way I was grounding things. I made a change to the canceller itself. I lifted the two antenna inputs off of common board ground. That necessitated adding a bino to the main input. The aux input already has an isolating bino, so no change to that one. It looks like I now need to be able to reverse the phase of each input, if needed, with a reversing switch on the output of each winding. I say this because at times, the phase pot has to be all the way over to one side or the other to get near a null. Progress is being made.
