Hi Ray, great to hear there’s more ham activity on 630 meters than meets the eye (or tickles the ear?). Not surprised to hear most of this activity is in digital modes. Currently I don’t have any plans to bring a computer into the shack, and I realize this locks me out of a lot of the LW “action” on 2200, 1750 and 630 meters. But my intentionally Luddite approach to my radio hobby—headphones, pencil and paper logs, CW only with bugs and straight keys instead of a keyer—is oddly therapeutic considering I’ve spent the vast majority of my professional life over the last 40 years crunching and managing complex data on computers. So, for the time being, I’ll continue to seek signals I can hear, not see. But who know, maybe some day that’ll change for me, but I’m not holding my breath. If it does though, I’ll have humble pie to eat here on this message board! Thanks again for the reply, Ray. All the best, Bruce
