JD, I agree that 3 or 4 main categories are sufficient. I am one of several operators who has both "Hi and Low" Part 15 beacons. I am currently experimenting with Part 15 Lora DX transmissions on 915 Mhz, and use other Part 15 frequencies for local data exchange. Many of my messages apply to all of my beacons, such as a Lightning Storm shutdown. What I am suggesting is four categories for Board Announcements, Long Wave BC-Utility, Short Wave BC-Utility, and License Free Hobby Beacons (any frequency, any country). If it is necessary to keep within the LWCA Long wave bounds then drop the Short Wave BC-Utility category, but make it clear only LW discussions are welcome. Mike N8OOU 73
