Ed, thanks so much for this - that's really fascinating. You explain perfectly why PLC signaling with an ability to trigger high voltage circuit breakers in 20 ms or less would be so valuable, depending on nothing but the high voltage lines themselves that the PLC system is designed to protect, no other technology such as phones, internet, microwave, etc. Do you (or Johh, who also seems to know a lot about PLC) have a link to an overview of such PLC technology, or is this "industry know-how" only stuff, inaccessible to mere mortals like me?
