Bruce, I did a little listening there this afternoon. This is a target-rich environment! MJ's carrier and sidebands are quite strong here in central MA. But there's something else clearly going on. I found a big intermittent carrier on 210.55 kHz, with key-down periods of about 3 seconds. That process has enough extraneous garbage to sound like a PLL going in and out of lock. Nothing heard during the day on the 209.37 kHz you reported, though. Every once and a while, I get an "AA" at typical beacon speed in that area for a while, then it goes silent. I will try to remember to check this out tonight. Not sure what's going on! John, W1TAG
