John, thanks for listening around there! The mystery continues…. Actually I may have heard your 3 second key-down intermittent carrier on 210.55, will need to check my logs/scratch sheets when I get back to the shack, traveling at the moment. But that specific pattern sounds familiar. As for the intermittent A you heard, I can’t say I’ve heard that one specifically but I do sometimes hear “mystery letters” like that, that may or may not rise to the level of scratch sheet or log capture. Again, will check when I return. Again thanks for listening around there!
