Hi Bruce. I was wondering if you saw and read a message I posted a little while back (14532)? I am speculating here but I think someone is sleeping at the controls and not paying attention to the VU meters when the station switches from one audio feed source to another. The crude video I put together clearly shows a carrier strong as fresh horse radish and very nice modulation instantly change to barely audible modulation yet the same very strong carrier levels. Modulation in most cases drops by 20 dB. Have a look at that post and see if that helps you out. 73 Gedas W8BYA
