Hi Gedas,
First, Merry Christmas! Yes, I did see your post about the inexplicable abrupt changes in modulation levels for R Algeria. Very interesting and that could certainly explain some of the instances of audible carrier without audible voices or music. Perhaps you are right, someone in the transmitter room is asleep at the switch! :-)
