I live in Texas. I have seen several appearances of a carrier on 153 Khz.
I cannot hear any modulation. Texas is really bad for long wave but I keep trying and trying to improve my system. Noise (right now) is not that big of a consideration. You can see plenty of NDB's and they do interest me somewhat. I get plenty of VLF radio but who can decode those!
