Algeria on 153 kHz is a very tricky/funny station because the vast majority of the time they transmit a strong carrier but "seemingly" light/no modulation so I say keep checking them. Like right now at this instant, the carrier is strong as fresh horse radish yet I cannot hear any voices or music so you are not alone. 73 Gedas W8BYA
