Antenna- Loop On Ground (500ft) Located in rural area. I do have a neighbor within 200 ft. The antenna has no amplification and for the most part is a dream of low noise. I get plastered with AM radio stations. I have a 50 KW located about 10 miles to my north west. I have in total 4 AM radio stations that create intermod products on my radio. I use a Nooelec band reject on the incoming lines of the LOG and it almost flat line attenuates the AM band. Late in the afternoon one station will make it through slightly but I use the notch filter in my nRST (SDR Play) to completely remove it. When I first started with the LOG I was frustrated. AM radio was putting me out of business on anything below 500 Khz. But with the Nooelec filter I am enjoying what I am seeing.
