Yes,

I keep my home fairly free of offenders. My radio room is about 100 feet away from the house as well. Everything in my radio room is off right now except for the battery charger and radio. I have a computer there (19 volt) (off) and 12 volt monitor (off). I have looked at my antenna (over 500 feet of loop on ground) and find the insulation is good. I tested the DC resistance and it reads the same as when I installed it. I bought an ATS- mini receiver with a loop antenna to try to track down some noise sources but the fundamental and harmonics are so wide banded it doesn't seem to help in this situation. I am going to have to buy a laptop to use with my other SDR. Oddly this signal has gradually decreased over the last two days. I see the fundamental and mostly one harmonic. There is slight noise on the higher harmonics. Almost like whatever it is, it is giving up? Hard to say. This could be a neighbor and I also have a large power line within 1/4 mile. I does have power line PLC and emits several channels in the afternoon. I know this because I borrowed a laptop last time to track down these SCADA channels and when I drive under the power line the signals are very strong. They are not a real interference problem when I know what each channel's frequency is. I just ignore them. Right now I am just studying what I receive at the location. I have identified several Texas NDB's and I think I see some Canadian NDB's on my radio. Canadian NDB's usually are more than 10 times the power that US NDB's use. I think I understand why. More distance for them to cover. I see NDB's from Oklahoma, New Mexico and Louisiana as well. But again thanks for the suggestions. Noise can be a very complicated thing I have learned over the years. I was a Controls Specialist for many years and had to deal with noise many times. Unfortunately it can come from a lot of different causes. One has to keep the thinking cap on at all times. One thing I learned to appreciate in that time is a balanced transmission line. If they are not compromised they can provide very low noise environments.
