I agree with the spirit, alas broadcasting is a commercial venture and I have spoken to many if they were interested in a new [certain music genre] radio station and no one was because they streamed or used Sirius/XM satellite. Advertisers know this. My town has lost all its amazing FM and AM radio stations and they all closed with the remainder owned by giant corporations that really don't care what you want to hear. Longwave receivers aren't commercially produced for the general public outside of the DX'er specialty types and I doubt it ever will be on this side of the planet. I can't see anyone sinking the megabucks into a TX few have the capability to receive. I grew up in the day of Radio Shack and Heathkit. People like you and me have a memory of radio these folk today will never know. 73's
