Paul, I share your disappointment that there isn’t more ham activity in the 2200 and 630 meter ham bands. For several years, I’ve listened to LW regularly and carefully between 10-550 kHz, and have never heard anything in the 2200 and 630 meter ham bands except one CW QSO a couple years ago in the 630 m band. Admittedly, I am not using QRSS receive approaches and my LW receive set up is probably not optimal, although I easily pick up European LW broadcasters and utility stations and NDBs out to 1200-1500 miles. But I’m old school I guess and would love to heard some old-fashioned 2200 and 630 meter signals through my headphones sometime. Same goes for the 1750 meter LOWFER band. Anyway, I hope you put something up for 2200 meters and if you ever need a “somewhat local” old-fashioned headphones listener for testing, etc., please give me a shout. 73, Bruce WA1HGJ
